One of the differences is that in the West no one forces the women to objectify themselves. There are no departments of vice and virtue that force women to put on revealing clothing.

So what if the media says it's okay to flash your tits? Would you jump off a bridge if the media said it's okay?

And never in the history of civilization has a man truly been attracted to a woman for her "wit or intelligence." Nor has a woman been truly attracted to a man for his "wit or intelligence. We are visual creatures. Sight is our strongest sense. This is just a fact of biology. And our sight tells our brains which is likely the best mate. Of course, most people choose a mate based on a variety of other factors. Just imagine the type of man you would attract by baring 40% of your skin? If women choose that, that's their problem. There is no law in the West that says they MUST bare any skin at all.

Men objectify themselves as much as women do. Why do you think men work so hard for "6-pack" abs? Why do they want to make tons of money and drive fancy cars?

In the islamic culture the law known as sharia which is culled from kuran, sunnah and hadiths pretty much considers women walking vaginas (they cover them because the belief is that an attractive woman will tempt men into sex) and will sentence to death those vaginas if those vaginas are raped. In islam if a woman is raped she must prove with the eye-witness testimony of 2 men that she was raped. If the she cannot prove she was raped can be charged with adultery and the sentence for that is death.

Now you tell me which is worse: Some women choosing to dress skimpily (and we know that rape is not a sexual crime because there is nothing sexual about 90 year old obese women and rape victims in the west come in all shapes, sizes, ages and clothing styles) and objectifying themselves or women being forced to be shrouded simply because the men of that culture cannot control their most base and vile compulsions?

It's all about choice. There is NO choice in islam and everything is your choice in the West so don't you DARE compare the West to that cult of misogynists.

girl that`s not a stupid question. haha well it`s so hard to keep up with the latest trends & in my opinion, i just think it`s lame to do so because you`ll just end up looking like everyone else. If you`re more of trendsetter, then be unique ! If you like to keep up with latest trends, I believe that boot leg jeans & leggings are still in style. SPRING FASHION is basically what`s in. BRIGHT colors are a MUSTbut don`t wear it just because it`s "IN"; it also has to flatter your overall image .
plaid shorts, tunics, low wedges, and bright colored flats are what everyone's styling in at the moment, from what I see. Headbands, bright bangles, and beaded necklaces seem to be the latest accessories trend. hope this helps ! =]

That covers my body. I hate the traditional colors too not because they remind me of christmas but they make me feel like prostitute. I think Pakistani brides put too much makeup too and that makes them look kind of cartoonish.
